4.10. The sensor of temperature of cooling liquid

 Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect a wire from the negative plug of the storage battery.
2. Disconnect from the sensor the electric socket and remove the sensor.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lower the sensor and the thermometer in a vessel with water.
2. Gradually heating up water, by an ohmmeter measure resistance of the sensor.

3. If resistance differs from given, replace the sensor of temperature of cooling liquid.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Installation is carried out to sequences, return to removal.
Prevention

Establish the sensor of temperature of cooling liquid with a new sealing ring.

Inhaling moment: 24,5–29,4 N • m

2. Start up the engine and check absence of leaks from cooling system.
