GENERAL INFORMATION

1–gear belt;
2–camshaft pulley;
3–sealing laying; 		4–tension roller;
5–water pump;
6–laying.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a radiator.
2. Weaken fixing and adjusting bolts of the generator and remove a driving belt.
3. Turn a cranked shaft so that the piston of the first cylinder was in the top dead point in a step of compression (TDC).
4. Merge cooling liquid in the suitable container.
5. Remove the water pump in the following sequence:

– gear belt;
– camshaft pulley;
– sealing laying;
– tension roller;
– water pump;
– laying.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check the water pump on lack of cracks and damages.
2. Turn a shaft of the water pump and check smoothness of rotation in the absence of noise. If necessary, replace the water pump.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Clear of the remains of laying and an alien material a privalochny surface of consolidation of the water pump.
2. Establish rubber consolidation on the water pump.
3. Establish the water pump and fix it bolts.

Inhaling moment: 19–25 N • m
Prevention

For prevention of falling of laying at installation of the pump put kremniyorganichesky hermetic in a laying groove, as is shown in drawing. It is not necessary to put hermetic on privalochny surfaces.
4. Further installation of the pump is carried out to sequences, return to removal.
5. Fill in in cooling system necessary amount of demanded cooling liquid.
6. Connect a wire to the negative plug of the storage battery.
7. Start up the engine and check absence of leaks from cooling system.
