5. Power supply system and release

GENERAL INFORMATION

Power supply system elements air

1–air line;
2–resonant chamber;
3–air filter;
4–measuring instrument of a consumption of air;
5–sensor of provision of a butterfly valve;
6–IAC valve;
7–executive VICS mechanism;
8–electromagnetic VICS valve.

The air arriving in the engine, is cleared by the air filter and, mixing up with fuel, forms the fuel mix which is burning down in cylinders of the engine.

The power supply system air consists of the following knots:

– air filter;
– resonant chamber;
– sensor of a measuring instrument of a consumption of air (MAF);
– throttle knot;
– inlet collector;
– valve of a control system of frequency of rotation of idling (IAC).

The measuring instrument of a consumption of air (MAF) is used for measurement of a mass consumption of the air passing through the engine. The thermoresistor which was in the sensor defines a mass consumption of air and reports this size to the control unit the engine (RSM), giving on its entrance the corresponding signal.

The resonant chamber suppresses the noise caused by a pulsation of air.

The butterfly valve regulates amount of soaked-up air and includes:

– sensor of provision of a butterfly valve (TR);
– the sensor defines the provision of a butterfly valve.

The fulfilled gases contain mainly nitrogen (N2), and also carbon monoxide (WITH), carbon dioxide (CO2), water vapor (H2O), oxygen (О2), a nitrogen (NOX) oxide, hydrogen (Н2) and various nedozhzhenny hydrocarbons (NANOSECOND). Rub from these components – WITH, NOX and NANOSECOND are the most serious pollutants of air therefore their emissions in the atmosphere should cope.

The three-componental catalytic converter (TWC) established in system of production of fulfilled gases, works as the gas reactor for reduction of level of the polluting substances released into the atmosphere to limits established by the law. All internal volume of the case is filled with the ceramic porous monolith representing the ordinary filter, the internal and external which surface of a time contacting to gases, is covered with very thin molecular layer of an alloy from the active catalytic substance containing platinum, rhodium and a palladium.

As a result the highly effective design which is not interfering passing of a stream of exhaust gases and differing raised service life turns out.
