5.26. Control valve (EGR)

 Check
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Start up the engine and leave it to work at an idling mode.
2. Connect the vacuum pump, as is shown in drawing, and create depression.
3. Check, whether the engine, or глохнет well works at the depression exceeding set in specifications.

Depression specifications: 8,67 kPas

4. If specifications are not carried out, replace the control EGR valve.

Replacement
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the control EGR valve in the following sequence:

– disconnect a vacuum hose;
– turn out two bolts and remove the control EGR valve and laying.
Prevention

At installation of the control EGR valve use new laying.

2. Installation of the control EGR valve is carried out to sequences, return to removal.

Inhaling moment: 19–26 N • m
