GENERAL INFORMATION

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a wire from the negative plug of the storage battery.

2. Establish forward wheels for rectilinear movement.

3. Remove the switch of a sound signal.

4. Disconnect the electric socket from the switch of a sound signal.

5. Put combination labels on a steering shaft and a steering wheel for the correct repeated installation.

6. Turn out a lock nut of fastening of a steering shaft.

7. A stripper remove a steering wheel.

8. Remove casings of a steering column.

9. Turn out the top bolts of fastening of an arm of a steering column.

10. Remove an adjusting plate and a plate.

11. Turn out two coupling bolts of fastening of the universal hinge.

12. Remove a steering column from the car.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Installation is carried out to sequences, return to removal.

Dismantling

PERFORMANCE ORDER

	If necessary remove the lock of a steering column, previously having cut through a hacksaw on metal grooves in heads of cut-off bolts. Unscrew bolts a screw-driver with a flat edge and remove the lock of a steering column.
Prevention Fix a shaft in a vice, having protected it from scratches bronze laying or rags. At installation of the lock of ignition it is necessary to use new bolts with a cut-off head. Do not assort a steering column and a steering shaft.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

	1. Check wear of the plug of a steering column.
	2. Measure length of a steering shaft. Length: 604, б±1 mm
	3. Check the universal hinge of a steering shaft on absence люфта, damages and jammings.
	4. Be convinced that the socket does not move, when the key is in the situation LOCK (BLOCKING), and freely moves, when the key is in any other situation.
5. Check a protective cover on lack of cracks or damages.

Assembly

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Assembly is carried out in sequence, return dismantling.
	2. Put the anticreeping lock on a casing. Establish new adjusting bolts of the anticreeping lock and tighten them until heads of bolts will not break off.
