13.9. Pump of the amplifier of a steering (FE DOHC)

GENERAL INFORMATION

The pump of the amplifier of the steering, established with the FE DOHC engine

1–nut;
2–pulley of the oil pump;
3–pressure head hoses;

4–oil pump;
5–arm of the oil pump.

The pump of the amplifier of the steering, established with the DOHC T8 engine

1–driving belt;
2–pressure head hoses;
3–soaking-up (inlet) hoses;

4–knot of the oil pump;
5–arm of the oil pump.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Removal of the pump carry out in the sequence shown in drawing.

Prevention

After a detachment of pressure head pipelines and returnable hoses, probably, liquid of the amplifier of a steering therefore prepare suitable capacity will start to follow.

2. Check a condition of all details and, if necessary, repair or replace them.

3. Installation carry out to sequences, return shown in drawing, taking into account the following.

1) Establish hoses so that they were not overwound and did not make contact with any other parts.
2) Adjust a belt tension.
3) Fill in liquid in a tank of the amplifier of a steering and remove air from system.
4) Check on absence of leakages of liquid from the oil pump and hoses.
