17.5. Check of elements of central air located in salon of the car

Electric motor of the main fan

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the socket from the electric motor of the main fan.
2. Check correctness of operation of the electric motor of the main fan when giving food on it (red contact: +, black contact:–).
3. In case of malfunction replace the electric motor.

Resistor

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the socket from the resistor.
2. Check integrity of a chain and measure resistance between contacts.
3. Replace the resistor if it fused.

Prevention

Do not use the resistor repeatedly if fused a safety lock.



Termistor

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check integrity of a chain between contacts.
2. At violation of integrity of a chain replace a termistor.
3. Check compliance of resistance between contacts to the following values:

Evaporator

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check an external surface of a core on existence of cracks or deformations.
2. At deformation of an edge of a core straighten it.
3. Check correctness of installation of a tube of a termistor.

Prevention

Check a sealing ring on existence of cracks and put on it cooling oil when the hose or a pipe will be connected to an entrance / target pipe of the evaporator. At replacement of a core of the evaporator on new through an entrance pipe enter in it about 50 cm3 of cooling oil.
