17.6. Removal and compressor installation

 FE DOHC engine
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Merge a coolant from system of the air conditioner.
2. Disconnect from the compressor hoses of high and low pressure.
3. Remove a belt as follows:

– weaken bolts (1), (2) and a nut (3);
– turn out a bolt 4;
– remove a belt;
– adjust a belt tension upside-down.
4. Unscrew a nut (3), a shaft (5) and adjust (6).
5. Establish details in sequence, return to removal.
6. At replacement of the compressor on new before installation merge about 100 cm3 of cooling oil.
7. Remove air, add a coolant and check functioning.

DOHC T8 engine
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Merge a coolant from system of the air conditioner.
2. Remove a belt as follows:

– weaken bolts (1), (2) and (3);
– turn out a bolt (4) to adjust a tension;
– remove a belt;
– adjust a belt tension upside-down.
3. Disconnect the socket from the magnetic coupling.
4. Disconnect from the compressor hoses of high and low pressure.
5. Turn out 3 fixing bolts.
