6.10. Check of the maximum pressure created by the pump
GENERAL INFORMATION
Prevention

The fuel system remains under pressure even after engine switching off therefore before a detachment of pipelines it is necessary to remove pressure in fuel system.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect a wire from the negative plug of the storage battery.
2. Connect the measuring device between the fuel filter and the main fuel hose.
3. Connect a wire to the negative plug of the storage battery.
4. An additional wire connect F/P plugs (the fuel pump) and In + the diagnostic socket.
5. Include ignition no more than on 10 with therefore the fuel pump will start to work and will create demanded pressure in fuel system.
6. Measure the maximum pressure created by the pump.

The maximum pressure created by the fuel pump: 441–588 kPas
7. Switch off ignition and remove the additional wire connecting plugs of the diagnostic socket.
8. If pressure does not correspond demanded, replace the fuel pump.
