6.4. Check of residual pressure in fuel system
GENERAL INFORMATION

Prevention

The fuel system remains under pressure even after engine switching off therefore before a detachment of pipelines it is necessary to remove pressure in fuel system.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect a wire from the negative plug of the storage battery.
2. Connect the measuring device between the fuel filter and the main fuel hose.
3. Connect a wire to the negative plug of the storage battery.
4. An additional wire connect F/P plugs (the fuel pump) and In + the diagnostic socket.
5. Include ignition no more than on 10 with therefore the fuel pump will start to work and will create demanded pressure in fuel system. If ignition to leave included more than on 10 with, the additional wire will strongly heat up. Check absence of leakages of fuel from fuel system.
6. Switch off ignition and remove an additional wire the connencting of the plug of the diagnostic socket.
7. Through 5 mines check pressure in fuel system.

Pressure of fuel: not less than 176 kPas
8. If pressure less demanded check the fuel pump, a regulator of pressure and fuel nozzles.
