Removal and installation
Prevention
The fuel system remains under pressure even after engine switching off therefore before a detachment of pipelines it is necessary to remove pressure in fuel system.
Gasoline is explosive, therefore at work with elements of fuel system provide normal ventilation of a workplace, do not use fire, the sparking devices opened by fire-dangerous light devices and do not smoke.
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Remove pressure in fuel system. |
2. Disconnect a wire from the negative plug of the storage battery. |
3. Disconnect four sockets from fuel nozzles. |
4. Remove from the fuel highway a pressure regulator. |
5. Disconnect fuel hoses from the fuel highway. |
6. Remove the fuel highway together with fuel nozzles. |
7. Remove fuel nozzles. |
8. Installation is carried out to sequences, return to removal. |
9. Establish new ring consolidations under nozzles. |
|
10. Before installation of ring consolidations put on them a small amount of pure engine oil. |
|
Check of nozzles
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Start up the engine and warm up it to normal working temperature. Leave the engine to work at frequency of rotation of idling. |
2. A stethoscope or a screw-driver listen to the sounds created by nozzles at their work. |
3. In the absence of the sounds created by nozzles at their work, measure resistance of nozzles. |
4. If resistance of a nozzle in norm, check the wires going to a nozzle, and tension on RSM 16, 17, 34 and 35 conclusions. |
|
Check of resistance of fuel nozzles
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Disconnect sockets from nozzles. |
|
2. By an ohmmeter measure resistance of each nozzle. Resistance: 15,55–16,25 Ohm at 20°С
|
3. If resistance of a nozzle differs from demanded, replace a nozzle. |
|
Check of tightness of fuel nozzles
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Remove nozzles together with the fuel distributive highway. |
|
2. By means of a wire fix nozzles. |
Prevention
Be convinced that nozzles are reliably established in the fuel highway that will prevent their moving and, probably, damage.
Gasoline is explosive, therefore at work with elements of fuel system provide normal ventilation of a workplace, do not use fire, the sparking devices opened by fire-dangerous light devices and do not smoke.
|
|
3. An additional wire connect F/P plugs (the fuel pump) and In + the diagnostic socket. |
4. Include ignition. |
|
5. Incline fuel nozzles at an angle 60 ° and check that there are no leakages of fuel from nozzles. |
6. In the presence of leak, replace a nozzle. |
7. Switch off ignition and remove a wire crossing point. |
|
Check of productivity of fuel nozzles

|
3. Attach the special adaptation to the storage battery and a nozzle. |
4. Using a measured vessel, measure the volume of fuel sprayed by a nozzle for 15 pages. Productivity of a fuel nozzle: 49–64 ml / 15 with
|
5. If productivity of a nozzle differs from demanded, replace a nozzle. |
Prevention
At repeated installation of the fuel highway and nozzles use new sealing rings, previously having greased them with a thin layer of engine oil.
