Check of a tube of an oil radiator on bends and deformation

1. Check tubes of an oil radiator.

Check, on lack of excesses in places of curves.

Check, that the area of cross-section section of a tube did not become too small owing to its deformation because of superficial damages.
2. If necessary replace a tube of an oil radiator.

Tube obstruction

Blow a tube through its inlet opening the compressed air under the pressure of 196,2 kPas and then check, whether can pass on it air under small pressure.


At assembly of a tube of a radiator it is necessary to use a new sealing ring. Surely tighten a clip from a final opening.

If the tube of a radiator is damaged, the temperature of transmission ATF liquid will raise owing to reduction of its quantity in a radiator that can lead to violations in work and to leakages of oil from heat-removing tubes. Because the disconnected pressure of blocking of the converter of a torque cannot return to initial value, blocking remains, and the engine will stop idling.
