15.6. Bottom lever of a forward suspension bracket

GENERAL INFORMATION

1–bolt (the spherical hinge of the bottom lever);
2–nut (draft of the stabilizer);
3–bolt and dynamic damper;
4–bottom lever;
5–dustproof cap;
6–plug of the bottom lever (lobby);
7–limiter;
8–plug of the bottom lever (back).

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift a jack a forward part of the car and establish it on reliable support.
2. Remove wheels and the bottom cover.
3. Remove components in the sequence shown in drawing, taking into account the following.
4. Cut off rubber from the forward plug of the bottom lever.
5. The special adaptation clamp the bottom lever and remove the plug.
6. Check a condition of all details and, if necessary, repair or replace them.

The bottom lever – on existence of damages and cracks.
The plug – on deformation and wear existence.

Dustproof cap – on damage existence.

The spherical hinge – on existence of wear and damages.

Prevention

At replacement of the spherical hinge replace also knot of the bottom lever.


7. Attach to a finger of the spherical hinge of the bottom lever the special adaptation and measure loading by means of a spring dynamometer.

Prevention

Several times shake a finger of the spherical hinge and measure loading.

Load of the spherical hinge: 0,98–4,9 N • m


8. Installation carry out to sequences, return shown in drawing, taking into account the following.
9. Establish the new plug of the bottom lever, and then the special adaptation enter it into the bottom lever.

10. Establish wheels.

Inhaling moment: 88–118 N • m


Prevention

Tighten bolts of the bottom lever not up to the end, lower the car and finally tighten all bolts and nuts the demanded moments (in not loaded condition).
