15.7. Forward stabilizer of cross-section stability

GENERAL INFORMATION

1–traverse;
2–element of fastening of the engine;
3–forward part of an exhaust pipe;
4–engine mount (No. 1);
5–spherical hinge of a tip of steering draft;
6–pipe;
7–returnable hose;
8–bolt (an intermediate shaft);
9–bolt (the spherical hinge of the bottom lever);

10-steering transfer;
11-nut and bolt;
12-a cross-piece with the bottom lever;
13-draft of the stabilizer;
14-stabilizer arm;
15-stabilizer plug;
16-bar of the forward stabilizer;

Removal, check and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Lift a jack a forward part of the car and establish it on reliable support.
2. Remove wheels and the bottom cover.
3. Remove components in the sequence shown in drawing, taking into account the following.
	4. Remove an element of fastening of the engine, previously having fixed the engine the special adaptation.
5. Bring under the stabilizer a support, and then turn out bolts and nuts.
6. Remove a stabilizer arm.
	7. Slowly lower a cross-piece, and then remove a stabilizer bar from a cross-piece.
8. Check a condition of all details and, if necessary, repair or replace them.
9. Installation carry out to sequences, return shown in drawing, taking into account the following.
10. Put konsistentny greasing for rubber on an internal surface of the plug of the stabilizer.
	11. Establish the plug on an adjusting label on a stabilizer bar.
	12. Establish a bracket in the direction shown in drawing. Inhaling moment: 43–61 N • m
Prevention Do not change the installation direction.
13. Establish wheels. Inhaling moment: 88–118 N • m
Prevention Having tightened fastening of the shock-absorber and a bolt of the bottom lever not up to the end, lower the car and finally tighten all bolts and nuts the demanded moments (in not loaded condition).
14. Make adjustment of forward wheels.
15. Remove air from a hydraulic drive of the amplifier of a steering.
