16.1. Cowl

GENERAL INFORMATION

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Removal carry out in the sequence shown in drawing, taking into account the following.
2. Open a cowl and fix it on a support.
3. Disconnect a hose of a smyvatel.
4. Support a cowl so that it did not fall after a reversing of bolts of fastening of loops.
Prevention Removal of a cowl carry out with assistants.
	5. Turn out four bolts of fastening of hinges of a cowl.
6. If it is necessary to remove an airintaking lattice, remove levers of screen wipers
	7. Remove adjusting jams, turn out screws of fastening of an airintaking lattice of a forward wall and remove a lattice.
8. Check a condition of all details and, if necessary, repair or replace them.
9. Installation carry out to sequences, return shown in drawing, taking into account the following.
10. Tighten bolts of fastening of a cowl by hand.
11. Close a cowl.
	12. Check gaps on cowl perimeter. If necessary, moving a cowl in the extended openings for bolts of fastening of a cowl, adjust the provision of a cowl so that gaps on perimeter were uniform and corresponded to demanded values. After adjustment of situation tighten bolts of fastening of a cowl. Inhaling moment: 19–25 N • m
13. Weaken screws of fastening of the lock and remove an insulator.
	14. Adjustment of the lock of a cowl carry out after cowl alignment. Weaken bolts and a nut of fastening of the lock of a cowl and combine the lock with a doggie on a cowl. Inhaling moment: Bolts: 7,8–11 N • m Nut: 19–25 N • m
