Removal

Prevention

For removal and installation of glass use a special tool kit. 49 0305 870 And.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a wire from the negative plug of the storage battery.
2. Remove facing of the top back doorframe, a back rack and the back luggage shelf.
3. Disconnect the socket of a back heater of glass.
4. Remove a fringing of back glass.
	5. Remove glass, having separated glass from a sealant by means of the standard electric or manual demountable tool, or use the following procedure. By means of a pricker make an opening in a sealant. Pass through this opening the end of a piece of a royalny wire in length about 40 cm and attach to both ends whetstones.
6. Two persons should take these whetstones, one from within, and another outside of the car, and then to cut a sealant round glass.
7. Remove glass from a body.
Prevention Cut on border between glass and a sealant. In case of very strong warming up the royalny wire can burst, therefore periodically let's to it cool down and do not work too long at one place. If glass is not subject to a reuse, removal can be made quicker if instead of royalny wire to use the tool similar shown in drawing.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

	1. By means of a knife accurately level a sealant on a body. Leave a layer in thickness about 1-2 mm.
Prevention In case of a vykrashivaniye of an old sealant close up these places a new sealant.
2. Carefully clear and remove all konsistentny greasing in a zone in width of 5 cm on perimeter of glass and the glue which has remained on a body.
	3. Paste a slip on glass perimeter at distance of 7 mm from edge.
Prevention Strongly paste a slip and let's to it dry out.
	4. By means of a brush put a first coat on glass and body perimeter and let's to it dry out within 20–30 minutes.
Prevention Do not allow contact of the grounded surfaces to dirt, water, oil etc. and do not touch them.
	5. Establish struts in the provisions shown in drawing.
Prevention Replace all faulty clips with the new.
6. When the first coat will dry, put by means of a syringe for a sealant the roller of a repair sealant in thickness of 11 mm on width of 7 mm from outer side of glass.
	Prevention Cut off a nozzle of the boss of a repair sealant, as is shown in drawing. If necessary smooth a repair sealant to correct any roughnesses.
	7. Attach back glass to a body.
Prevention Not to subject back glass to pressure in case of sharp closing of a door, hold a door window opened while the repair sealant will not harden sufficiently. Combine labels on glass with V-shaped grooves on struts. Time of hardening of a repair sealant At temperature 20°С Time of hardening of a surface: 1 hour Time demanded prior to the beginning of operation of the car: 4 hours At temperature 35°С Time of hardening of a surface: 10 minutes. Time demanded prior to the beginning of operation of the car: 2 hours

	8. If necessary remove surpluses or add a repair sealant.
	9. Check lack of a leak of water. At leak detection well erase water and add a repair sealant.
10. After check on lack of a leak of water establish facing of the top back doorframe, a back rack and the back luggage shelf.
	11. Connect the socket of a heater of back glass.
