GENERAL INFORMATION

1–screen wiper brush;
2–screen wiper lever;
3–screen wiper electric motor;
4–draft of a screen wiper; 		5–washer tank;

Removal
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Switch on and off a windscreen screen wiper in order that screen wiper levers with brushes stopped in a starting position.
2. Remove covers, turn out nuts and remove screen wiper levers.
3. Turn out six screws and remove two fixing elements.
4. Remove an air lattice.
5. Open a cowl and turn out 4 bolts of fastening of the electric motor of a screen wiper.
6. Unscrew a nut.
7. Remove the lever and directing shaft.
8. Turn out a bolt and a nut.
9. Take knot of the transfer mechanism up from a cowl cover from the driver.

10. Disconnect the socket from the screen wiper electric motor.

11. Remove the connected part of transfer and the screen wiper electric motor by means of a screw-driver.
12. Remove the screen wiper electric motor from a lattice.
13. Check resistance, moving each of drafts a hand. In the presence of resistance disassemble the mechanism and grease it.
14. Remove a screen wiper brush, pressing a suspension bracket in the direction inside and down.
15. Check a condition and replace a screen wiper brush assembled.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Installation carry out to sequences, return to removal, taking into account the following.
Prevention

Before installation be convinced that the motor and a screen wiper are in the provision of a stop.
2. Establish the lever mechanism as follows:

– insert the lever mechanism via the panel of a forward wall from the driver;
– combine openings and ledges of the lever mechanism assembled, and then establish the lever mechanism by means of washers and nuts;

Inhaling moment: 7–10 N of m

– connect the socket of the electric motor and establish a screen wiper in the provision of a stop.
3. Establish the hinge and the screen wiper electric motor as follows:

– completely extend the lever mechanism assembled;
– combine a ledge and a groove, and then establish the screen wiper electric motor by means of washers and nuts.

Inhaling moment: 7–10 N of m
4. Establish the lever and screen wiper brushes (the party of the driver) as follows:

– put on a brush the screen wiper lever;
– screw a nut of fastening of the lever.

Inhaling moment: 10–14 N of m
5. Establish the lever of a screen wiper and a screen wiper brush (the right forward side) as follows:

– put on a brush the screen wiper lever;
– screw a nut of fastening of the lever;

Inhaling moment: 10–14 N of m

– move a brush to the provision of a stop.
6. By means of a needle or other sharp subject adjust washer nozzles.
