For prevention of damage of system in the course of diagnostics or repair observe the following rules:
– shutdown or connection of all knots of system (the control unit (CU) ABS, HCV etc.) should be carried out at the switched-off ignition;
– at failure of the knots which repair is not provided, it is necessary to replace all assembly;
– at carrying out welding works with use of electroarc welding disconnect sockets of all knots (CU ABS, HCV assembly, all relays etc.).
Brake liquid dissolves paint, plastic and isolation of wires therefore at casual hit of liquid on a paint and varnish covering of the car or its components wash out them a large amount of water.
