10.10. Testing of pressure of transmission liquid

GENERAL INFORMATION

Check of pressure of transmission liquid is carried out to define a condition of hydraulic components and whether there are leaks.

Preparation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Execute the preparation presented in the section "Testing of collaboration of an automatic transmission and the engine on the motionless car"
2. Connect to the engine a tachometer.
3. Connect a manometer of OK201 190 AA0 to the union of check of pressure.

Carrying out testing


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Start up the engine.
2. Check frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine idling and in a selector "R" position.

Technical characteristics:

Frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine idling: 800±50 mines-1
Installation of a corner of an advancing of ignition (to the top dead point): 10±1 ° (Contact of TEN of the diagnostic socket is earthed)

3. Move the selector lever to a position "D" and on a manometer read pressure size.
4. Connect a manometer of OK201 190 AA0 to the union of check of pressure.

Prevention

For an exception of damage of a transmission execute steps 4 and 5 during 5 pages.


5. The left foot press against the stop a brake pedal, and the right foot smoothly press an accelerator pedal.
6. If frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine does not increase any more, on a manometer read size of pressure and release an accelerator pedal.

Prevention

Operation of the engine within, at least, one minute on frequency of rotation of idling cools transmission liquid and prevents deterioration of its properties.


7. At the working engine move the selector lever to a position N and leave the engine to work at frequency of rotation of idling within, at least, one minute.
8. Similarly measure pressure in all positions of the lever of the selector.

9. Screw a new stopper with a square head in an opening for the union of check of pressure.
