Check of complete opening of a butterfly valve

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Switch off the engine.
2. Turn the zaslonka lever a hand to check complete opening of a butterfly valve at completely pressed pedal of an accelerator.
3. If the butterfly valve opens not completely, adjust a cable of a drive of a zaslonka.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Switch off the engine.
2. Remove a pin of fastening of a cable to the butterfly valve lever.
3. Pull for a pin in the direction of lengthening of a cable (direction R) with effort less than 1,96 N (0,2 kg) and stop for an instant when will feel a tension then with a marker put a label on a cable at the end of an external cover of a cable.

Prevention

What is meant a tension? If to pull for a loose cable, the cam of a butterfly valve established on the case of the valve from the interior of AKP, starts to move. This movement of a cam will be transferred to you in the form of a tension and during this moment it is necessary to stop a cable pulling.


4. Connect a cable pin to the butterfly valve lever.
5. Check, whether the label on a cable from the end of an external cover of a cable coincides.
6. If the label does not coincide, achieve it cable adjustment. Thus do not pay attention to size of a free wheeling.

А=5±1,0 mm
7. Move the butterfly valve lever a hand from completely closed to completely open condition and check, whether there are hindrances no it to moving.
8. In the presence of the problems connected with work of AKP, check pressure in the line idling (392,4 kPas) and adjust a butterfly valve cable once again.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove an adjusting clamp (red) a butterfly valve cable.
2. Insert a cable pin into an assembly opening of the lever of a butterfly valve.
3. Establish a cable on an arm (C).
4. Make sure that the lever of a zaslonka is in the situation corresponding to completely closed zaslonka.
5. Place an intermediate ring in thickness 5±0,1 mm on a piece And a free wheeling.
6. Turn a nut (In) a hand to an arm (C) so that did not remain gaps since both ends of an intermediate ring.
7. Fix a nut position (In) and tighten a nut (And) the demanded moment of an inhaling.

Inhaling moment: 11,77–16,68 N • m

Thus press an external cover of a cable in the direction D to prevent shift of an external cover of a cable from the Page arm.
8. Move a cable a hand from completely open to completely closed condition to check, whether there are hindrances no it to moving.
9. Check distance А=5±1,0 of mm at completely closed butterfly valve.
10. At a deviation from demanded values carry out assembly of a cable of a butterfly valve once again.

Prevention

Be careful not to damage a cable and a cable cover (deformations or an excess).



Adjustment

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Turn ear lobbies to the full to the left.
2. Switch off the engine.
3. Check, whether the butterfly valve is completely open at completely pressed pedal of an accelerator. If it is open not completely, adjust an accelerator cable.
4. Establish an external cover of a cable on the Page arm.
5. Check, whether the butterfly valve lever is completely closed.
6. Remove laying from an antispray guard of a forward left wheel.
7. Remove a stopper of L pressure for measurement in the line, shown in drawing, and establish a measuring instrument of pressure of oil.
8. Start the engine in a position of "R" and check frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine idling.

Frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine idling: 800 mines-1

9. At completely closed lever of a butterfly valve execute the following actions:

– a hand holding a cable for an external cover, move it in the direction L for obtaining pressure above the specified value;
– slowly move an external cover of a cable in the direction R and stop in a point in which the pressure curve in the line starts to be bent then tighten a nut And while it will not reach the Page arm.
10. Tighten a nut In inhalings demanded by the moment at the fixed provision of a nut And and the specified pressure in the line.

Inhaling moment: 11,77–16,68 N • m

11. Switch off the engine.
12. Remove a manometer and establish a new stopper with a square head (MFU60
19 423А), having tightened it the demanded moment of an inhaling.

Inhaling moment: 4,9–9,8 N • m

13. Establish an antispray guard.

Prevention

Do not allow excessive moving of a cable in the direction R at achievement of the specified pressure in the line. (Do not move it more, than on 3 mm from a bend point).

It can lead to release of an internal wire of a cable and damage of an automatic transmission.
