10.28. Check of work and adjustment of position of the lever of the selector

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Be convinced that the lever of the selector can be moved, as is shown in drawing.
2. Check that when moving the lever of the selector from a position P in a position L, in each situation there is a click.
3. Check that positions of the lever of the selector correspond to indication of the lever of the selector.
4. At discrepancy of characteristics adjust the display panel.
5. Check that positions of the lever of the selector correspond to indication in a combination of devices.
6. At discrepancy of characteristics adjust the switch.
7. Be convinced that the car functions in each chosen situation.

Adjustment

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Move the selector lever to a position P.
2. Weaken bolts of fastening of a cable of the lever of the selector.
3. Pull a selector cable to its lever.
4. Press the selector lever against a position P and hold him in this situation.
5. Tighten bolts of fastening of a cable of the lever of the selector.

Inhaling moment: 7,9–10,7 N • m


Display panel

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Move the selector lever to a position P.
2. Weaken screws of fastening of the display panel.
3. Combine adjusting screws in the toddler with openings in the display panel. Establish a suitable thick wire for support of the toddler.
4. Temporarily establish the display panel on an arm of the lever of the selector.
5. Tighten screws of fastening of the display panel in the sequence shown in drawing.

Inhaling moment: 2,0–2,9 N • m

6. Remove a wire.
7. Make sure that positions of the lever of the selector correspond to the display panel of the lever of the selector in each situation.
