10.4. Self-diagnostics system
In the control unit the system of protection of the engine which works in case of failure of any device on an entrance or an exit is available a power transmission of the car. It has three appointments: self-diagnostics, fault tolerance and display of codes of diagnostics of malfunctions. The RSM control unit possesses also function of the control device for the help in an assessment of characteristics of separate switches and warmed-up sensors of oxygen. The tester of self-diagnostics (KJ–1) can be used for reading of codes of malfunctions from the control unit by a power transmission and control of operation of various switches on an entrance and warmed-up oxygen sensors. General note The system of self-diagnostics which is included in the AKP control unit, defines malfunctions of the main sensors (entrance), electromagnetic valves (exit) and the AKP control unit. The course of data processing or the remained functional problems are remembered in the AKP control unit in the form of special codes. The device of self-diagnostics (KJ–1) is used for definition of numbers of codes of malfunctions and allows to supervise all switches.
