Balance of assembly of an automatic transmission (stage 1)

Prevention

Choose adjusting laying according to head "Preliminary loading of bearings".

If driving disks or a brake tape 2-4 are replaced on new, before installation impregnate new knots in transmission ATF liquid, at least, within two hours.

Before assembly put transmission ATF liquid on all sealing laying, the sealing rings rotating and rubbing detail.

All sealing rings of round section, oil sealing rings and laying should be replaced with the new.

At repeated assembly use technical vaseline, but do not grease with konsistentny greasing.

If it is necessary to replace the plug, replace a detail (knot) containing the same plug.

After hermetic drawing assembly is necessary for making within 10 minutes and to sustain 30 minutes before filling with liquid for an automatic transmission.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Level a casing of bearings when using directing bolts, as is shown in drawing, and press it. Establish and tighten assembly bolts.

Inhaling moment: 10,8–13,7 N • m

2. Vpressuyte a bearing ring in a converter casing.
3. Collect the special tool.
4. Establish parasitic and target gear wheels driving in by their plastic hammer.
5. Establish the picked-up adjusting laying and a bearing ring in a casing of the bearing using the special tool punch and a hammer.
6. Establish a bearing casing as follows:

Prevention

Tighten bolts evenly and gradually.


– establish a bearing casing on a converter casing;

Inhaling moment: 19–25 N • m

– combine shlitsa on a shaft of a parasitic gear wheel with a label on a casing of bearings;
– a punch and a hammer establish a new cylindrical pin.
7. Establish the accumulator 2-3 piston as follows:

– establish a spring of the return valve of a nozzle and the return valve;
– put ATF on new sealing rings and establish them on the accumulator 2-3;
– establish the accumulator 2-3.

Inhaling moment: 7,9–10,7 N • m

8. Establish a bearing ring in a bearing casing.
9. Establish differential.
10. Establish the picked-up adjusting laying and a bearing ring in a transmission case.
11. Establish a parking latch as follows:

– establish a parking latch and a shaft;

Prevention

Do not deform a spring persistent ring at its installation.


– establish a spring and a spring persistent ring.
12. Establish the parking lever and a spring persistent ring.
13. Establish a switch support.

Inhaling moment: 10,8–13,7 N • m
14. Establish a shaft and a plate of the manual valve as follows:

– establish a plate of the manual valve: intermediate ring washer and nut;
– tighten a nut the demanded moment;

Inhaling moment: 42–54 N • m

– establish an arm;

Inhaling moment: 7,9–10,7 N • m

– establish fixing ball, a spring, a washer and a cap. Tighten a cap;

Inhaling moment: 11,8–17,6 N • m

– move a shaft of the manual valve and make sure that the parking latch works correctly.

15. Establish a target sleeve on an entrance gear wheel and establish the persistent bearing in a target sleeve.

External diameter of the persistent bearing: 71,0 mm

16. Apply a thin film silicone hermetic on contact surfaces of a casing of the converter and the transmission case.

Prevention

Do not damage a sealing ring at its installation.


17. Establish a new sealing ring in a converter casing.

Prevention

Tighten bolts evenly and gradually.


18. Establish a transmission case on a converter casing.

Inhaling moment: 38–51 N • m

19. Establish an engine No. 1 support.

Inhaling moment: 68–77 N • m


Prevention

Unsuccessful installation of the special tool can lead to a vykrashivaniye of teeths of lateral gear wheels of differential.


20. Establish the special tool in lateral gear wheels of differential.
21. Establish the special tool for support of a shaft of the turbine.
22. Establish a shaft of the turbine and the coupling 3-4 assembled as follows:

– collect a shaft of the turbine and the coupling 3-4 assembled;
– make sure of the correct installation of the bearing and its ring;
– establish a shaft of the turbine and the coupling 3-4 assembled in the transmission case.
23. Establish the special tool so that it pushed a turbine shaft back.
24. Establish an internal gear wheel as follows:
– establish an internal gear wheel in a target sleeve;

Prevention

Do not deform a spring persistent ring at its installation.


– establish a spring persistent ring.
25. Establish the plug drove assembled as follows:

– make sure that the bearing and a ring of the bearing are established in the correct positions;
– support a shaft of the turbine one hand not to allow its rotation;
– establish the plug drove assembled in a coupling 3-4 drum by means of its rotation.
26. Establish a frictional disk.
27. Establish the one-pass coupling 2 as follows:

– support the one-pass coupling 2 horizontally;
– establish it rotation of the plug drove counter-clockwise;
– establish a spring persistent ring.
28. Establish the tape servo-driver in the transmission case as follows:

– establish a returnable spring of the servo-driver and the tape servo-driver;
– compress the servo-driver;
– establish a spring persistent ring.
29. Establish a piston rod.
30. Slightly tighten a piston rod a hand.

Prevention

Place shlitsa in situation up.


31. Establish an anchor strut.

Prevention

Hook on an anchor strut of a brake tape 2-4, as is shown in drawing.


32. Establish a brake tape 2-4 in the transmission case so that it was in completely expanded condition.
33. Establish a small solar gear wheel and the one-pass coupling 1 as follows:

– make sure that the persistent bearing and its ring are established in the correct position;
– establish a small solar gear wheel and the one-pass coupling 1 assembled by means of its rotation.
34. Establish the block of couplings assembled as follows:

– make sure that the persistent bearing is established in the correct position;
– establish the block of couplings assembled by means of its rotation.

Prevention

Measure a difference on height between drums of a back and forward course and the transmission case.
At discrepancy to the specified values repeat assembly, since a step 22.

Difference on height: 0,7–1,9 mm



Prevention

Do not deform a spring persistent ring at its installation.


35. Establish a new spring persistent ring on a bottom of a groove of a shaft of the turbine.
36. Use the following procedure for adjustment of the general face люфта and a choice of a suitable ring of the bearing:

– establish the persistent bearing on the block of couplings assembled;
– remove a ring of the bearing and laying of the oil pump;
– establish the thinnest ring of the bearing (2,2 mm) on the oil pump;
– establish the oil pump on the block of couplings assembled;
– measure a gap And between a transmission and the oil pump;

Prevention

Make some measurements and calculate average value.


– pick up a suitable ring of the bearing from the table provided below;

– remove the oil pump;
– place the picked-up ring of the bearing and new sealing laying on the oil pump;

Prevention

Tighten bolts evenly and gradually. If it is difficult to tighten bolts, that, probably, laying is not on a place. Remove the oil pump and rearrange laying.


– establish the oil pump on the block of couplings assembled;

Inhaling moment: 19–25 N • m

– establish an oil tube.
37. Adjust a brake tape 2-4 as follows:
– weaken lock nuts and tighten a piston rod the demanded moment;

Inhaling moment: 11,8–14,7 N • m

– unscrew a piston rod on 1,5 turns;
– holding a piston rod, tighten a lock nut the specified moment of an inhaling.

Inhaling moment: 25–39 N • m

38. Establish a new sealing ring and a maslopriyemnik on a transmission.

Inhaling moment: 7,9–10,7 N • m


Prevention

Fix magnets from the interior of an oil tray in the places specified in drawing.


39. Establish new sealing laying and the oil pallet.

Inhaling moment: 8,4–10,7 N • m


Prevention

Tighten bolts evenly and gradually.


40. Combine the manual valve with a pin on its plate and establish the case of operating valves in a transmission.

Inhaling moment: 10,8–14,7 N • m

41. Establish a new sealing ring on a connector assembled.
42. Establish a connector assembled.
43. Pick up colors of plaits and connect the socket of solenoids and the socket of the sensor of temperature of ATF.

Prevention

Tighten bolts evenly and gradually.

If it is difficult to tighten bolts, that, probably, laying is not on a place. Remove the oil pallet and rearrange laying.


44. Establish new laying and a casing of the case of operating valves.

Inhaling moment: 8,4–10,7 N • m

45. Establish a steel ball, a spring, an oil tube and consolidation.
46. Establish a connecting bolt.

Inhaling moment: 11,8–17,6 N • m

47. Establish the generator of impulses.

Inhaling moment: 5,4–7,8 N • m

48. Establish the delay sensor.
49. Adjust the delay sensor as follows:

– connect an ohmmeter to contacts And and N;

– turn a shaft of the manual valve completely counter-clockwise then return it in a position N;
– adjust the switch in a point in which contiguity of a chain between plugs is observed;
– tighten the switch.

Inhaling moment: 7,9–10,7 N • m

50. Remove a transmission from the special tool (arm).
51. Establish in a transmission a measuring instrument of level of transmission ATF liquid and a tube for filling with oil with a new sealing ring.

Inhaling moment: 6,9–9,8 N • m
52. Establish a shaft of the oil pump.
53. Establish a new sealing ring on a turbine shaft.
54. Fill the moment converter with the AKP pure transmission liquid if it was merged.

ATF type: Dexron ll or M–III

55. Establish the torque converter in a converter casing at its rotation for combination of shliyets.

Prevention

When filling the converter of the moment with the AKP transmission liquid support it in vertical situation, do not allow a liquid modulation.

If the converter hardly sits down into place, do not apply big efforts; make installation carefully and accurately.


56. To be convinced that the converter of a torque is established accurately, measure distance And between the end of the converter of a torque and the face of a casing of the converter.
