10.22. Dismantling of an automatic transmission

GENERAL INFORMATION

Sequence of dismantling of an automatic transmission (stage 1)

1–torque converter;
2–shaft of the oil pump;
3–sensor of level of ATF and tube of filling with oil;
4–generator of impulses;
5–sensor of delay and socket;
6–block of sockets (generator of impulses, sensor of temperature of oil and electromagnetic valves);
7–a tube and hoses for oil;
8–oil pallet and laying;
9–maslopriyemnik;
10-a casing of the case of operating valves;
11-butterfly valve cable;
12–socket of the electromagnetic valve (on lateral face of the case of valves);
13-the case of operating valves;
14-oil pump and laying.

Sequence of dismantling of an automatic transmission (stage 2)

1–piston rod;
2–spring persistent ring;
3–block of couplings;
4–brake tape 2-4;
5–small solar gear wheel and one-pass coupling 1;
6–anchor strut and axis;
7–tape servo-driver;
8–one-pass coupling 2 and knot of the plug of planetary transfer;
9–spring persistent ring;
10-internal gear wheel;
11-coupling 3-4; 12-turbine shaft.

Sequence of dismantling of an automatic transmission (stage 3)

1–transmission case;
2–target sleeve;
3–a brake for low speed and a backing;
4–a stopper, consolidation, a spring and a fixing ball;
5–arm;
6–shaft and plate of the manual valve;
7–support of the driving mechanism;
8–parking lever;
9–parking latch.

Sequence of dismantling of an automatic transmission (stage 4)

1–differential;
2–accumulator 2-3;
3–cylindrical pin;
4–reflective partition;
5–bearing case;
6–parasitic gear wheel;
7–target gear gearing;
8–protective casing of bearings;
9–rings of bearings;
10-adjusting laying;
11-oil consolidation;
12-converter casing.

Prevention

Do not spill transmission ATF liquid at removal of the converter of a torque.


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the moment converter, having taken out it from a casing.
2. To Vytolknita hand shaft of the oil pump.
3. Remove a measuring instrument of level of transmission ATF liquid and a tube for filling with oil.
4. Remove a sealing ring from a tube for filling with oil.
5. Remove a hose сапуна.
6. Collect the special tool.
7. Fix on the oil pump as appropriate earrings, as is shown in drawing.

Prevention

Do not incline a transmission in one party in the course of dismantling as it can suddenly turn over and put a trauma.


8. Lift a transmission and fix it on the special tool.
9. Remove the generator of impulses and the delay sensor.

Prevention

Do not lose a spring and a steel ball.


10. Turn out a bolt of fastening of the socket.
11. Remove laying, oil tubes, a spring and a steel ball.

Prevention

Before a perevorachivaniye of a transmission remove the oil pallet. It guarantees that all extraneous inclusions and particles remain in the pallet.


12. Turn out bolts and remove the oil pallet and laying:

a. investigate everything extraneous inclusions and the particles found in the pallet and on a magnet to define a condition of details of a transmission. Existence of particles of wear of coupling testifies to wear of a plate of a drive or brake tapes. Steel particles on a magnet testify to wear of bearings, gear wheels or drive plates. Existence of aluminum particles testifies to wear of plugs or a transmission case;
b. In the presence of a large number of extraneous inclusions and particles replace the converter of a torque and carefully check a condition of details of a transmission.
13. Remove a maslopriyemnik and a sealing ring.
14. Remove a casing and laying of the case of operating valves.
15. Disconnect sockets of solenoids and the socket of the sensor of temperature of ATF.
16. Remove the block of sockets.

Prevention

Weaken bolts evenly and gradually.


17. Remove the case of operating valves in the form of the integral block.
18. Remove the oil pump and laying.
19. Remove the block of couplings assembled:

– remove a spring persistent ring of a shaft of the turbine;
– pull for a drum of a back and forward course and remove the block of couplings.
20. Remove a small solar gear wheel and the one-pass coupling 1.

Prevention

Use a wire piece for fastening of a brake tape so that it was not damaged at a pulling.


21. Remove a brake tape 2-4.
22. Pull for an axis supporting an anchor strut, and remove a strut.
23. Remove a piston rod from the tape servo-driver
24. Remove the servo-driver as follows:

– remove the special tool a spring persistent ring;
– remove the servo-driver and a spring.
25. Remove the one-pass coupling 2 and knot of the plug drove planetary transfer as follows:

– remove a spring persistent ring;
– remove the one-pass coupling 2 together with knot of the plug drove planetary transfer;
– remove a frictional disk.
26. Remove an internal gear wheel as follows:

– remove a spring persistent ring;
– take an internal gear wheel from a target sleeve.
27. Remove the coupling 3-4 assembled as follows:

– remove a sealing ring from a turbine shaft from a converter casing;
– take a turbine shaft for removal of knot of the coupling 3-4;
– remove the coupling 3-4.
28. Turn out bolts, and then a transmission casing by means of an easy postukivaniye a plastic hammer.
29. Remove a target sleeve from a target gear wheel.
30. Remove a shaft of the manual valve and a plate of the manual valve as follows:

Prevention

Do not lose a spring and fixing ball.


– remove a stopper, laying, a spring and fixing ball;
– remove an arm;
– turn out bolts and вытолкните a shaft of the manual valve;
– remove a nut, a washer, an intermediate ring and a plate of the manual valve.
31. Remove a support of the driving mechanism.
32. Remove a spring persistent ring and the auxiliary parking lever.
33. Remove a parking latch as follows:

– remove a spring persistent ring;
– pull for a parking shaft and remove a spring and a parking latch.
34. Remove differential knot.
35. Remove the accumulator 2-3.
36. Remove a spring of the return valve and the return valve.
37. Remove a bearing casing as follows:

– turn out a bolt shown in drawing, for receiving access to a cylindrical pin;
– beat out a cylindrical pin a punch;
– remove a casing of bearings by means of an easy postukivaniye a plastic hammer.
38. Remove parasitic and target gear wheels their knocking-out from the torque converter.
39. Remove the block of a casing of bearings as follows:

– remove bolts of the block of a casing of bearings;
– remove a converter casing from the special tool (an arm for a transmission);
– squeeze out the block of a casing of bearings from a casing of the converter of the moment using a suitable pipe (diameter about 80 mm).

Prevention

Establish rings of bearings at the subsequent assembly for adjustment of preliminary loading.
