10.23. Check and adjustment of preliminary loading of bearings

GENERAL INFORMATION

Prevention

For adjustment of preliminary loading use the special tool.




PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Measure preliminary loading of a target gear wheel and pick up suitable adjusting laying (and) as follows:

– level a casing of bearings use of directing bolts as is shown in drawing;
– впрессуйте in a casing of bearings, using the special tool;
– turn out directing bolts and establish adjusting bolts of a casing;

Inhaling moment: 10,8–13,7 N • m

 

– establish a converter casing on the special tool (an arm for a transmission);
– remove a ring of the bearing and adjusting laying from a casing of bearings using a punch and a hammer;
– establish a target gear wheel in a converter casing;

Prevention

Choose a gap (shooter) as selector rotation.


– establish the ring of the bearing which has been earlier removed, on the bearing and place the special tool on a target gear wheel;
– place four special tools on a converter casing in the places specified in drawing;
– place a bearing casing on special tools (intermediate rings) and establish four special tools (bolts). Tighten bolts the demanded moment of an inhaling;

Inhaling moment: 19–25 N • m


Prevention

The following steps are necessary for landing of bearings.


– turn the special tool (selector) together with the special tool (levels) for increase in a gap (shooter) until it will not turn more;
– turn the selector in the opposite direction until preliminary loading (the gap will be reduced) will be chosen;
– establish the special tool and a dynamometer or a wrench with torque control on a target gear wheel;
– adjust a gap of the special tool (selector) for receiving the specified preliminary loading (counting on a dynamometer scale);

Preliminary loading: 0,49–0,48 N • m
Reading on a dynamometer scale: 0,5–0,9 kg

Prevention

Read out value of preliminary loading at the beginning of a povorachivaniye of a target gear wheel.

Measure a gap on all circle and select adjusting laying according to the maximum size of a gap.

The most admissible number of laying is equal to seven.


– measure a gap between parts A and B of the selector. Pick up adjusting laying according to gap size;
Thickness of adjusting laying, mm: 0,10, 0,12, 0,14, 0,16, 0,18, 0,20, 0,50
– remove a casing of the bearing and the special tool;
– establish demanded adjusting laying and впрессуйте a bearing ring in a casing using the special tool;
– establish a bearing casing;

Inhaling moment: 19–25 N • m

– be convinced that value preliminary loading / value on a scale of a dynamometer are in limits of demanded values. Otherwise, repeat adjustment;

Preliminary loading: 0,49–0,48 N • m
Reading on a dynamometer scale: 0,5–0,9 kg

– remove a casing of the bearing and a target gear wheel assembled.


Prevention

For check and adjustment of preliminary loading use the special tool.


2. Measure preliminary loading of a lateral gear wheel of differential and pick up suitable adjusting laying (and) as follows.
– remove a ring of the bearing and adjusting laying from the transmission case;
– establish a bearing ring in a casing of the converter using a suitable pipe;
– establish differential assembled in a converter casing;

Prevention

Choose a gap (shooter) as rotation of a part A or B of the selector.


– establish the ring of the bearing removed earlier, in the special tool and place it on differential assembled;

Prevention

Screw bolts in the positions specified in drawing below.


– place six special tools in the places specified in drawing;
– place the transmission case on special tools (intermediate rings);
– tighten the special tool (bolts) the specified moment of an inhaling;

Inhaling moment: 38–51 N • m


Prevention

The following steps are necessary for landing of bearings.


– turn the special tool (selector) using the special tool (level) for increase in a gap (shooter) until it will not turn more;
– turn the selector in the opposite direction until preliminary loading (the gap will be reduced) will be chosen;
– insert the special tool through an opening of oil consolidation of the case of a transmission before contact with gear wheel shaft;
– establish the special tool and a dynamometer or a wrench with torque control on the special tool;

Prevention

Read out value of preliminary loading at the beginning of a povorachivaniye of a target gear wheel.


– adjust a gap of the special tool (selector) for receiving the specified preliminary loading (counting on a dynamometer scale);
Preliminary loading: 0,49 N • m
Reading on a dynamometer scale: 0,5 kg

– measure a gap between parts A and B of the selector;
– add 0,3 mm to the measured size of a gap and pick up one or several adjusting laying, on total thickness of the most suitable to the measured value;


Prevention

Measure a gap on all circle.

The most admissible number of laying is equal to three.


– remove the case of a transmission and the special tool;
– establish demanded adjusting laying and hammer a bearing ring into a casing;
– establish a transmission casing;

Thickness of adjusting laying, mm: 0,10, 0,12, 0,14, 0,16, 0,18, 0,20, 0,50, 0,70, 1,00

Inhaling moment: 38–51 N • m

– be convinced that value of preliminary loading is in limits of the specified values, otherwise, repeat all adjustment;

Preliminary loading: 3,0–3,9 N • m
Reading on a dynamometer scale: 30–39 N

– remove a transmission case.
