9.10. Dismantling of primary shaft of a transmission

GENERAL INFORMATION

Sequence of dismantling of primary shaft of a transmission

1–the bearing (from a gear wheel of the 4th transfer);
2–gear wheel of the 4th transfer;
3–ring of the synchronizer of the 4th transfer;
4–lock ring;
5–nave of the coupling 3rd and 4th of transfers assembled;
6–ring of the synchronizer of the 3rd transfer;
7–gear wheel of the 3rd transfer;
8–bearing (end of primary shaft);
9–primary shaft;
10-spring of a cracker of a clamp of the synchronizer;
11-the sliding coupling of the synchronizer of the 3rd and 4th transfers;
12-cracker of a clamp of the synchronizer;
13-nave of the coupling 3rd and 4th of transfers.

Preliminary check

Gap of a gear wheel of the 3rd transfer

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Measure a gap between a gear wheel of the 3rd transfer and a gear wheel of the 2nd transfer.

Nominal gap: 0,05–0,20 mm
Maximum permissible gap: 0,25 mm

2. If the gap exceeds maximum permissible value, check a surface of contact of a gear wheel of the 3rd transfer, a gear wheel of the 2nd transfer and a nave of the coupling of the synchronizer 3-ей/of the 4th transfers. Replace the worn-out or damaged details.

Gap of a gear wheel of the 4th transfer

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Measure a gap between a gear wheel of the 4th transfer and the bearing.

Nominal gap: 0,1–0,37 mm
Maximum permissible gap: 0,42 mm

2. If the gap exceeds maximum permissible value, check a surface of contact of a gear wheel of the 4th transfer, the bearing and the coupling of the synchronizer 3-ей/of the 4th transfers. Replace the worn-out or damaged details.

Dismantling

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Disassemble primary shaft in the sequence given on drawing.

The bearing (from a gear wheel of the 4th transfer)

PERFORMANCE ORDER
By means of a press and the special AA0 adaptation OK930 175 remove the bearing from a shaft.

Nave of the coupling 3rd and 4th of transfers assembled, ring of the synchronizer of the 3rd transfer and gear wheel of the 3rd transfer

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a lock ring.
2. By means of the special tool ОК930 175 008 remove a nave of the coupling 3rd and 4th of transfers assembled, a ring of the synchronizer of the 3rd transfer and a gear wheel of the 3rd transfer.

Bearing (end of primary shaft)

PERFORMANCE ORDER
By means of the special AA0 tool ОК670 990 remove the bearing.
